Reason for objection:
Objection. Whilst we understand the applicant’s motives for this change of use application, in our view it must fail. A residential property in the middle of this parade of shops would look very odd indeed & alter adversely the character & appearance of this stretch of the CA. In particular, we have a major concern with the proposal to disturb the building line of the existing structures by adding a front garden to the property in question, with surrounding walls, railings & cellar light.
