Lack of detail.

This applicant has a lengthy planning history with numerous applications submitted over the last year or so. We do consider these latest proposed amendments to be generally positive & they would result in a slightly more modest development that retains more of the character & scale of the original property & its neighbours. However, the supporting documents fail to illustrate adequately the applicant’s intention to install a fire escape/ covered staircase from the new loft room via the garage which is to become a habitable room. In the absence of more information this could have an adverse impact on the appearance of the property.
