Reason for objection:

This application proposes the removal/reduction in height of the most prominent chimney stack and architecturally significant feature of the house and its replacement by a large and dominating dormer window. As such, it materially and detrimentally alters the harmony of the existing profiles (please take a look at Elevations 3 and 4 - existing and proposed).
