This property is referenced in the LPA’s CA appraisal as making a positive contribution to the area, but substantial/ poor quality changes over the years have destroyed its originality & the current premises are in a dilapidated/ vacant state. Therefore we are supportive of the principle of redevelopment.
The PA is an anodyne solution with nothing to object to but, worse, nothing to get excited about. With apparently little effort or originality, this applicant seems to have given up. They might at least spell 'signage' correctly on the artist impression so it looks like someone actually cared.
