Reason for objection:

The proposed building creates a sense of enclosure due to its proximity and the narrowness of the area situated close to the main building. However, its scale and nature is subservient to the main building (Building of Townscape Merit) and is not considered to visually compete or detract from its appearance and integrity. However, there is concern about the impact of the proposed building and adequacy of the measures to safeguard the cedar tree.

No objections to the proposed works to the gates and boundary enclosure.
