Reason for objection:

Objection. We objected to the original PA for this car park as it will cause harm to the setting & significance of the grade 2* listed church. The current application is the fourth iteration of surfacing to the new car park. Originally it was to be grass paviers, then grasscrete, then limestone paving to match the existing north side car park, now yorkstone. The existing planning consent is predicated on the assumption that surfacing to the north & southside car parks will match, whereas it is unclear to us this latest variation would do so. In addition, faux Victorian street lighting has been erected in the new car park without permission which we will report to planning control/ enforcement.
