Reason for objection:

Objection.

This PA follows 22/02742 from the same applicant which was objected to by the CAAC & refused by officers. The signage in question has been up (if unlit) for many months & the applicant has failed to moderate it at all in response to that rejection.

All of the signage (front, back & hanging) is of poor quality appearance & the internally lit plastic design is completely inappropriate in a CA. Rather, any signage should be made from eg timber with raised lettering & sympathetically lit by low-emitting spots. In particular, the volume/ use of the vivid blue colour by the applicant should be reduced significantly.

The present application would continue to cause harm to the character & appearance of the CA & must be refused.
