Reason for objection:

Objection unless revised as below.

We expressed concerns on the previous PA 23/01504 for this property even though it was subsequently approved by officers. This latest PA is unsatisfactory for the following reasons: a) the original vertical stucco detailing on the front elevation (that demarcates the original detached property) is an important historical detail and should be retained; b) the orientation of the new front doorway & window above should be more centred to match the symmetry of #18; c) the new doorway should also better match the design of #18 (eg raised with steps); d) the brickwork to the front elevation (including new front extension) should be painted to match the existing/ #18; e) any new skylights (to the side & rear elevations) should be conservation type.

We are concerned that building work is already underway.
