Applicant has responded to our concern about the arched window & replaced it with one of rectangular design. The case officer (Mel Hickey) has asked if the CAAC will now drop its objection. As Chair, I am happy to do so.

Reason for objection:
Objection unless revised as below. We are not opposed in principle to the addition of a rear dormer window, but the choice of an arched window in this PA is inappropriate to the character & appearance of this property. All other windows to the property (& its attached neighbour) are rectangular in design and, in our opinion, any new dormer window should be too.
