Reason for objection:

Objection. We object to the use of perspex & vinyl in the new signage. Applicants in the Ancient Market Place should always seek to use traditional sign writing with clear painted lettering - both on fascia & blade/ projecting signage. At a minimum fascia signage should comprise individually cut letters eg in powder coated aluminium mounted on risers. Such signage should only be illuminated if absolutely necessary. Church Street is already well-illuminated.
