Reason:
No Objection however taking a broader view this appears to be an opportunity missed. This incredible monument should be relocated to a more prominent site such as the Museum (especially given the future uncertainty surrounding Guildhall) & displayed with much more imagination & finesse than the existing dreary municipal railings & stone finials, both of minimal merit. Also, the proposed new signage is very boiler plate in character & of no distinction. The Council could & should do much better.
