Reason for objection:

Objection. This PA is a rehash of an earlier PA from some years ago which proposed a similar mansard roof design. We objected to that & it was refused by officers for being out of keeping with the character & appearance of this grade 2 listed building. We strongly object to this latest PA. The plans (including metal cladding & mirrored glass to the new roof) would completely undermine the architectural significance of this important heritage asset & must not proceed.
