Reason for objection:
Although we were in favour of the restoration of this building as a whole (18/12794/LBC), the proposed external signage now includes some advertising (eg of the applicant’s aims), which we would prefer be kept neutral. This approach would then be consistent with that of the building’s previous occupant (Co-op bank) whose signage was restricted to discreet monochrome plates each side of the front entrance.
