Reason:
This is an attractive detached house adding character to the CA. The proposal (that will be seen from the road) to replace the existing side garage with a single storey extension with sloping roof respects the character of the existing building.
The CAAC considered and had no objection to the previous application refused by the council on daylight grounds for a two storey side extension. This single storey application largely follows the profile of the existing side garage.
