Reason for objection:

We are disappointed and concerned that our previous comments have been totally ignored by the applicant.
Whilst we don't object to the proposed front elevation there are a number of issues within this PA which we are concerned with.
We are disappointed the applicants have not taken the opportunity to use appropriate materials for a Conservation Area by replacing all uPVC windows and doors with timber frame windows and timber doors. The proposed building works aim to enhance the property within the CA rather than maintaining the status of the existing house.
In addition we note that there are a number of rooflights and these should be specified as 'conservation grade'.
While we don't mind the rear extension, we feel it does not match the rest of the building. It is a white 'box' incongruous with the rear elevation and not helped with inclusion of the rain water spout.
We object in the strongest terms the inclusion of the new garage. Notwithstanding the approval to remove numerous trees, we object to the loss of garden which is fundamental to maintain the character of the CA. We are also disappointed there are no proposals in the Planning Application to replace any of the felled trees.
Finally, a more traditional wood style door would be more appropriate for the garage than the roller shutter. Again, a style more in-keeping with the CA.
