Reason:

This property adjoins 27A where KT CAAC approved a dropped kerb & front garden parking bay scheme at its Nov meeting. 27A has also previously been extended at the rear similar to the current proposal for 27B. These extensions are not visible from the road. The materials proposed for 27B are basic eg brick work, UVPC windows/ doors & flat felt roof but generally in keeping with the character of the existing property, which is undistinguished architecturally. The new extension would involve removing a tree from the rear garden which is disappointing as it is visible from the road. Although probably not sufficient grounds to object to the application, nevertheless the applicant should be encouraged to replant/ add soft landscaping to the finished scheme.
