Reason for objection:

We have no objection to the works proposed to the two buildings, however we do object to the 'fast growing hedge'. The species illustrated is a 'leylandii' type hedge which is not appropriate to Southborough and would therefore harm the appearance of both the streetscene and the wider CA.
We recommend a more appropriate species is specified and that an appropriately worded condition is imposed to ensure that its is maintained.
