Reason for objection:

Objection.

Our objection is confined to the new signage scheme. We have previously objected to a similar signage scheme under 23/00847/ADV which was refused by officers.

To reiterate: the fascia signage should not be acrylic &/ or internally illuminated. Our recommendation is always traditional sign writing with clear-painted lettering. However if this is not possible, then lettering should be individually cut eg in powder-coated aluminium, with Matt finish, & displayed on risers. Furthermore, in a well-lit locale such as this, there should be no need for separate illumination. But if some form of lighting is absolutely necessary it should comprise low emission spot lighting or discreetly placed (in cornice) trough lighting. The proposed hanging sign should not be illuminated.
