As per our previous comments, our objection to this application remains.
We believe the development is inappropriate due to the scale and design of the proposed buildings. The existing property has the potential to be retained and refurbished and as an existing property is characteristic of the CA, this should be considered the most appropriate approach to the site and the opportunity could then be taken to address the existing frontage.
The proposed plots are out of keeping with those found in the CA and is therefore not considered acceptable in the context of the CA. The approval of such small plots would further set precedent which in turn would threaten the integrity of the CA.
The architectural style of the proposed houses is not in keeping nor of an outstanding quality that would enhance the CA.
