Reason for objection:

Objection. Scale of proposed new outbuilding is far too great (eg its roof pitch) in relation to its surroundings, especially the neighbouring property immediately to the east. Also timber cladding of building would be out of keeping with the typology of the area.

This PA would cause harm to the character & appearance of the CA, particularly the western end of The Mall, where it intersects with Portsmouth Road, & should be refused.
