Reason for objection:

Please note: this is a locally listed building.

Alterations would be clearly visible from the street (both Cadogan and St Leonards) and would have no respect for the building and its character, disrupting its symmetry and that of its neighbours.

Currently only the end of the staircase can be seen from the street but the larger proposed extension would protrude and be visible to the public from the street. Whilst the finishes are said to match in with the existing house the whole extension is on 'stilts' which does not in anyway mirror the existing architecture.
