The proposals appear to be well-considered in general. Although the works are to the rear of the property and would, therefore, not be visible from the street, nonetheless we have some concerns about the detail of finishes: in particular the roof to the new rear extension should preferably be covered with real (not artificial) slate to match the original house & the new rear extension roof lights should preferably be of conservation grade.
