Reason for objection:

This is an unusual house and is quite unique in the road.
The front of the dwelling will see an additional 3 Velux windows facing the street.
Most of the houses in the road have pitched roof tops but there are some whose extensions already facing the road have roof top windows.
The major activity will be the rear extensions including the loft, but this is facing the garden and likely not seen from the side of the house even though the house is detached.

In order to prevent harm to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area the proposed rooflights should be conservation roof lights. i.e they should not sit proud of the roof slope. secondly the elevation drawings should be amended to show the ridge tiles retained.
