Reason for objection:

Whilst we note this is a 'prior notification' regarding change of use, we object in the strongest terms to developments such as this, that are wholly inappropriate within the Oakhill CA. Many of the 'units' are substantially below minimum space standards and none have private amenity space. Contrary to the description in the application form, there is no obvious separate provision for bin storage shown on the drawings and many of the units would not have space to store rubbish internally - this would surely therefore become and environmental health issue.
There are no facilities provided for cycle storage and no usable outdoor amenity space. This is unacceptable a living accommodation in its current form and would not only be detrimental to the character of the CA and Surbiton, but detrimental to those unfortunate enough to live there.
