Reason:

In principle no objection for a change of use which is understandable during the current Covid 19 pandemic.

However, we would advise that the Planning Officer ensures the proposed change does not provide the applicant with permitted development rights to convert the property into dwellinghouses which, we believe, would in the long term be harmful to the restaurant/cafe scene now returning to the riverside.
