Reason for objection:
We believe this to be an over-development of the plot resulting in uncharacteristically small houses and gardens.
Materials are unacceptable in a conservation area and do not relate to those of quality buildings found within the area. uPVC is not a conservation grade material - all windows should be timber.
The tiles should be clay and not concrete.
The plan notes that all surface will be porous - but elsewhere states that existing blocks will be re-used - this needs scarification.
The loss of 6 trees is unlikely to be mitigated by the replacement of 12 in gardens of such small size.
The layout should be reviewed to reduce the amount of parking, loss of open space and reduce the extent of the new buildings (eg 1 new house and not 2).
