Reason for objection:

We do not object to the enlargement to the property and overall enhancements, however the proposed use of uPVC windows and doors is wholly inappropriate in the Conservation Area and therefore the development in its current form, is considered to be unacceptable. The opportunity should be taken to replace all windows and doors with the equivalent in timber (or aluminium).
It is not clear in the application, what materials will be used in the enlarged garage - for this to be acceptable, the door and roofing material must be appropriate to the location in the CA.
